About Us
Brad and Jill McClendon's very lives demonstrate the Spirit of Prophecy and the testimony of Jesus. Having come to know the Lord early in their lives, both Brad and Jill spent years of running from what they knew to be their callings, until God apprehended them.
Brad, who had been a professional golfer for more than five years, was diagnosed with an incurable form of sarcoma when he was only 22 years old. A year and a half later he received a miraculous healing. Brad's ministry releases people into the reality of the Kingdom of God followed by miracles, signs, and healings. Specifically, Brad's ministry releases people to apprehend the reality that God's kingdom is available for this generation. Additionally, Brad has a tremendous heart for evangelism, specifically in the marketplace, bringing God's love to people where they are.
Jill often speaks at conferences, holding workshops on dream interpretation and "finding your love language with God." She has a heart to see people delivered from fears and obstacles in their lives so that they can see their destinies fulfilled. As an artist, Jill has a heart to see the arts restored to the church in a pure form, reflecting God as the Creator and to demonstrate, through her own art, God's love and beauty to the world. In addition, Jill is developing a curriculum for churches to use for home group studies. The curriculum will combine journaling, scripture-reading and prayer to help small groups find who out who they are in Christ. Jill's art can be seen at www.windsweptart.com.
As a member of the leadership team of MorningStar Ministries, Brad serves as pastor of MorningStar's Wilkesboro Fellowship. Brad and Jill also travel as itinerant speakers throughout the United States, Canada, the former USSR and the United Kingdom teaching on the prophetic; releasing people in their gifting and callings; praying for the sick and seeing them healed; and delivering personal words of prophecy.
Brad and Jill's ministry, LoneStar, represents a unique aspect of their calling. God showed Brad a unique star in the heavens and revealed supernaturally that He would use both Brad and Jill just as he did the lone star over Bethlehem the night that Jesus was born. God promised that they would be anointed to point people back to the reality of Christ and who He is in them.
The McClendon's make their home in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where they home school their three boys: Brannon, Logan and Brad.
